About the event

OVERLAND ADVENTURE TIME

Load up all your gear and get ready for a multi day 4x4 adventure through some very diverse and scenic landscapes. We will be meeting at the Nellis Dunes OHV trailhead at 8:00 am Saturday May 23rd and ending near the cliffs of Sand Hollow in St. George Utah on Monday the 25th. Please take a minute to watch our videos for a sample of what we'll be experiencing along the 163 mile route. We will also go into the Logandale OHV area and into the Gold Butte region to visit several worthy stops. The trails are not difficult but they do require 4x4 and high clearance. Please read and follow the additional mandatory requirements listed below. This is a long and remote overland route with only one fuel stop. It requires us to camp for two nights along the trail, so load everything you'll need. The temperatures for the region will be about 90° during the day to around 50° at night. We will also be hiking short distances to some of the sites shown in the videos. This is optional but all are worth the hike. If necessary I will include more specific details.

Mandatory Requirements

Off-road tires (no street tires)

Extra Fuel - 5 gallons minimum

CB Radio

3 days of food

Camping Gear
